Still and Quiet

Read Mark 1:29-45

Reflect
This passage gives us a glimpse of Jesus’ daily life and ministry. He was pressed in on every side, everyone clamoring for Him. When he healed one sick woman, the people brought all the others, and “the whole town gathered at the door.” Hurting, needy, sick people, grabbing, pleading for a touch, a word from him to make it better. Do you feel like that sometimes? Do you ever feel that everyone wants a piece of you and you are stretched too thin to be of any good to any of them?
