Read Mark 3:7-19a
Reflect
This is one of those passages of Scripture that throws off my understanding and sense of flow. Such great things happen in these verses, but then there’s a blotch of Jesus telling some demons to not make Him known. How does this fit in between crowds coming to Christ for healing and Jesus choosing the apostles? I’m similarly perplexed when I see some blotch of struggle, injustice or tragedy in the midst of a progressing life.
Some events just don’t make sense, and this is frustrating, nay, infuriating, not to know the reasons for trials. Read the rest of this entry »
