Read Mark 5:1-20
Reflect
As we think about the days that preceded Christ’s death on the cross, we seek to understand the immensity of His sacrifice and the wideness of His mercy toward us. Can you imagine the torment the man possessed by “Legion” had endured? I can’t, but I do have a growing appreciation of the blackness of sin that would have imprisoned me forever, just as assuredly as Legion would have remained in the man if not for God’s mercy.
